Greetings, embedded Linux developer, As in past years, the ELC staff is organizing a technical showcase for conference participants:
See https://elinux.org/ELC_2024_Technical_Showcase The technical showcase is an opportunity: * For Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) projects to show their software in action, to grow their user and developer community * For system developers to share their experience using FOSS components (knowledge-sharing with other system developers should be the primary focus). * For hardware makers to show the capabilities of their hardware, provided what is demonstrated is mostly based on FOSS. * For ELC 2024 speakers to give a hands-on experience related to what they presented, and have plenty of time to interact with people who were interested in their presentation and/or who have questions. The technical showcase is set to happen on Tuesday evening (April 16, 2024), during Embedded Linux Conference 2024. This year, ELC is part of the Embedded Open Source Summit, which has details here: https://events.linuxfoundation.org/embedded-open-source-summit/ If you are interested in showcasing or demoing something, please contact the showcase coordinator - Tim Bird - by Friday March 15, 2024. Please follow the instructions and provide the information listed on the technical showcase wiki page under: "How to apply". If accepted, you will need to prepare a poster (PDF). At the event, you will receive tabletop space for a demo, where you may present a demonstration of your technology or project, if you would like. The poster file is due by March 20, 2024. Please send me your application sooner rather than later, to make sure you get a slot. The slots are limited in number, and are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.
