Hello Embedded Linux Developer,

This is a reminder about the deadline for submitting proposals for
Embedded Linux Conference Europe 2024. The deadline is:

Tuesday, April 30, at 11:59 pm Pacific Daylight Time (UTC-7)

The conference will be held on September 16 and 17 in Vienna, Austria.

For general information about the conference, See
  https://events.linuxfoundation.org/embedded-open-source-summit-europe/

This year, we'd really like to focus on some embedded verticals;
specifically Agriculture, Aerospace, Android (in embedded devices),
Automotive, Consumer Electronics, Drones, Energy,
Industrial Automation and Robotics.

What challenges with Linux have you faced in these specific sectors?
What solutions have you found, that you'd like to share with others?

I'm particularly interested in the build systems and distributions that
developers are using in these market segments, and would love to hear
how end-product development is affected by upstream policy changes (like
the recent change to the length of upstream LTS kernel support).
Of course anything "embedded Linux" is fair game for a talk proposal.

The CFP ends shortly (April 30), so please consider making a session
proposal soon!

See
https://events.linuxfoundation.org/open-source-summit-europe/program/cfp/#events-and-suggested-topics
for CFP details.

Please note that we have available some tips for proposal authors.
See https://elinux.org/Tips_for_ELC_presentation_proposals for details.
Following these tips will help improve the chances of your proposal being
accepted.

I look forward to seeing your proposals, and seeing you in Vienna later this
year!

Thanks,
-- Tim Bird - ELC Program Committee Chair
