Hi Andrew, Just tried to install 0.1rc2 on a couple of windows laptops (one running japanese windows xp and mine running windows xp) and it installed fine but when you try to run the application it appears to start up the cellml_corba_server but no user interface comes up. We tried it on another Japanese windows XP desktop machine and it runs fine...not sure of the differences in the installed software, and running the application from a command window didn't present any error messages.
And just to re-iterate my previous concerns with the use of the cellml_corba_server, when the application failed to run we tried to uninstall pcenv but the uninstall failed due to one (or more?) of the dll's still being in use. This is despite the user only being aware that the application failed to load for some unknown reason. So now the user has no idea whay they can't delete those files that were installed... Subject: [cellml-discussion] PCEnv 0.1rc2 (release candidate for PCEnv 1.0)out Hi all, The second release candidate for PCEnv, version 0.1, has been released. Information about the released files is available at: http://www.cellml.org/tools/pcenv/pcenv-releases/physiome-cellml-environment/releases/0.1rc2 This release candidate has been designed so it will work with the recent xpcellml_api 1.0 release candidate (xpcellml_api 1.0rc1). If you are interested in using PCEnv 0.1, please test this release candidate to ensure there are no problems with it. Once a reasonable amount of time has elapsed, and no problems with the release candidate are identified, PCEnv will be released. Please report any bugs you find at http://www.cellml.org/tools/pcenv/tracker, or to this list, or directly to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Best regards, Andrew Miller _______________________________________________ cellml-discussion mailing list [email protected] http://www.cellml.org/mailman/listinfo/cellml-discussion
