cffi-uffi-compat is part of cffi IIRC. If not, I see cffi-uffi-compat over in Ken Tilton's cells CVS: http://common-lisp.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/cells-gtk/cffi/?root=cells
I think the asdf-install is a little outdated -- you might want to check out my instructions over here on how to set up a current system: http://www.washbear-network.de/peterblog/getting-started-with-cells-gtk/ Some other folks around here have submitted patches to make it work with the latest cffi. There is a git repo around which includes a number of recent patches. Just skim the archives of this list for the past few months.
