Yes, I got the same problem on Debian (unstable/sid).
Indeed when I was testing the new package for Debian (I'm the
mantainer). I got this problem on Yahoo.
Is exactly the same problem. I can't upload the package in the Debian
archive while this bug to be active.
I read the new bug 88[1], and I confirm the problem.
I debugged the code too, and I got the problem exactly on:
SIGSEGV; Segmentation fault
yahoo_packet_process at libyahoo2.c:1605
1605 for (l = ptk-> hash; l; l = l->next){
