See mikemc's writeup [1] for details. We would love to be able to include fully-featured binaries in Fedora. I therefore kindly ask you, Konstantin, the copyright holder of CenterICQ code, to add an exception to the CenterICQ license that would permit distribution if binaries linked with OpenSSL. If you agree with this, please consider using the wording found at the bottom of Mike's writeup, or using a different license such as LGPL. [1] http://www.gnome.org/~markmc/openssl-and-the-gpl.html Thanks in advance! NB: This applies to CenterIM developers as well. Is there anyone with notable contributions to CenterIM that would oppose this? -- Lubomir Rintel <http://v3.sk/~lkundrak> --- End of forwarded message --- Tiger!P -- A random quote: Not available at this moment -- _______________________________________________ Centerim-devel mailing list [email protected] http://centerim.org/mailman/listinfo/centerim-devel http://www.centerim.org/
