There are problems with things like snapshots of LVs in VMs on LVs on dmraid in dom0. :) I don't know of anything about adding RAID devices in dom0. The metadata should get everything loaded for you out of the initrd, as long as it has all of the necessary RAID level drivers in it. -- Christopher G.
