/etc/hosts ile has only local host ip and bogus ip . pls  see below.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] etc]# cat /etc/hosts
# Do not remove the following line, or various programs
# that require network functionality will fail.
127.0.0.1               localhost.localdomain localhost
192.168.100.3          mailgw.la-marge.com la-marge.com

should I write the internet ip to that file?
