The glib2 in Fedora 17 is glib2-2.32.1 ... that (or something very close) should be in RHEL7 (so therefore, CentOS-7 as well) when it is released. We (the CentOS Project) do not have any newer versions of glib2 built for centos 5 or centos 6.
