I find it ironic that Al Jazeera, for all its flaws, is now considered the "gold standard" for investigative reporting the Arab world -- considered that they used to be considered synonymous with terrorism anti-Americanism, in the early days of the gulf war!
To be sure, their double-standard may open them up to charges of hypocrisy, but I have a hard time to thinking of any news organization that would have the right to cast the first stone...
