"Religion of Peace" in Action A good friend of mine hosts a local TV show here in Eugene , Oregon, called " Islam Today." His program is mostly straight news, simply describing the usual kinds of things various Muslims do around the world-- beheading a daughter for dating the wrong man, demanding the deaths of Jews, seeking to have Shariah law for a Muslim community in a town in Michigan or somewhere, and so forth. Barry Sommers, his name, doesn't editorialize except incidentally, and mostly along the lines of "isn't that ridiculous," or "can you believe it ? " That is as far as he ever goes, which I know for a fact since I have been a repeated guest on his show and otherwise watch it regularly. At no time has he made any threats against Muslims, at no time has he "ranted" on the subject or used intemperate language. This is necessary to know in order to best evaluate a voice mail he received a little over 2 weeks ago. The caller had an obvious Arabic accent and said, words to this exact effect, "you must stop your program and if you do not we will make sure there are serious consequences for you." Barry did two things immediately. First, he called the local police department and two uniformed officers came to his home and listened to the voice mail. They said that the threat was too non-specific for them to do anything and only if there was further harassment could they intervene. Secondly, Barry contacted a personal friend on the police department and he also came over, later, and listened. He was sufficiently alarmed to do some investigating on his own. It took most of two weeks but the caller was located. Surprise, surprise, he is a foreign student who is a member of the Muslim students association at the University of Oregon. Again, since the threat was non-specific, little could be done, but the Muslim student knows he is on the police watch list and also knows that hard evidence exists to connect him to any possible attack on Mr Sommers. I am scheduled to appear as a guest on Islam Today in early May. It is my intention to challenge the local Muslim community to admit just how anti-American the values of Shariah law happen to be. How anti-American many of the values in the Qur'an happen to be. And I intend to let any Muslims watching the show know that I am personally supportive of Barry's views at close to the 100 % level. I have already broadcast a one hour program that was highly critical of Islam on my own TV show, " City College TV Classroom." You have my word, there will be many more. Islam is a criminal religion and any Muslims who take the Qur'an seriously and intend to act upon their beliefs are criminals. Signed Billy Rojas
