Ernie: While i surely hope I do not need to eat my words, as things are it would really be nice from my perspective to trumpet the US / India alliance and make it a centerpiece of foreign policy. The idea is : Here is a good example, feel free to do likewise. "Get on board the peace train." Otherwise, here is a good example of an alliance that seeks to defeat zealous Muslim interests. And zealous other interests, such as lingering Communism. and all other "soft on human rights" regimes. It seems as if there are major joint US / India military exercises as well as joint Israel / India military exercises.
