So, not being a dummy, I say I agree since it more-or-less is similar to my own views. Technically this isn't silence, but it hardly is a bold courageous moral stand.. How about the WH stating, on its own initiative, that it will not negotiate with a regime that is Fascist in character which supports an anti-Semitic holocaust denying ersatz president who is a flunky of a bigoted theocrat ? At the same time it could be made clear that the US will not intervene militarily with troops because it cannot do so. Yet the USA will accept any and all political refugees from Iran who seek asylum in America. Waaaaaaay too much caution, faaaaar too little courage and morality.
