The Hamas regime in Gaza made the arrangements for this mass wedding ceremony as sanctioned by "pure Islam." And there is more to come. This is an integral part of the Islamization of Gaza under Hamas. This is not some sort of fluke. As the article from Jihad Watch reports, and there is zero doubt about the matter, Muhammad himself married a "wife" of six years of age, and Muslims are told to emulate Muhammad as an exemplar of human behavior. For anyone who makes excuses for Hamas, anyone who has the mistaken idea that Hamas is humane and serves the interests of Gazans or other Palestinians, this is something you've gotta see. This is officially approved pedophilia and gross mass victimization of little girls. It is also just one of many quite orthodox Muslim customs sanctioned by Shariah law. Customs that by all American standards, Left or Right, are illegal and horribly immoral. It is irresponsible in the extreme to regard Hamas as anything but one more criminal Muslim organization. None of this justifies some of the policies of the state of Israel toward Palestinians, policies that have been violent, cruel, unfair, and otherwise unjustified in case after case. But that is a separate issue. To regard Hamas as anything but an unmitigated catastrophe for Gaza would be uninformed and naive beyond belief.
