The depth of the naivete by the Norwegians is beyond comprehension. >From my perspective it's a reward, rather manipulative in nature, for compromising Americas security. It's a reward for trashing your own country and to me giving this price to Obaman is a huge embarrassment to this country. This peace price should have been given to the US Armed Forces for their faithful service to humanity through the years. Giving the Peace Price to the current Commander in Chief is nothing but a spit in the face of this country. The current President of EU, Mr. Reinfeldt, Prime Minister of Sweden says about the reward that "this puts demands on Obama". What are these demands? How will this affect his ability to protect the American people and make difficult decisions with regard to war and peace in the light of this award? Will the people of this country really trust that Obama is putting his nation, and its people, ahead of his "global" peace agenda and personal reputation. What his he? The President of the world or the President of these United States? Politically I can't help (and hope, I should add) to think that this will work against Obama with regards to domestic politics.
