The point is that as his site says, he is Muslim and at the same time he says he is 100 % American. Trouble is, at least if someone believes in the Qur'an and seeks to follow it, which Muslims are supposed to do, then there is a strong conflict. Dozens of teachings in the Qur'an are the exact opposite of the US Constitution.
