My guess is that the large non-religious segment of our US population has a negative view of Christianity because of the disproportionate vigor of the politically-vocal religious right. Public opinion of Islam is about where I would have supposed it would be. Even better ( that is, more negative ) than I might have hoped. Big failing with the poll, why no evaluation of Hinduism ? I mean, it is the third largest religion in he world.
