Ernie: If the two parties are mommy and daddy, suppose there was a Radical Centrist party. What would be the appropriate metaphor ? Supposedly -and I think more than theoretically-- an RC party would seek the best ideas of both mommy and daddy and be as honest and objective as possible in identifying bad ideas of either. This being the case several possibilities come to mind : pastor marriage counselor arbitrator civil attorney mutual fiend realtor fortune teller But I think this is the best metaphor : Judge Judy Any other suggestions ?
