I am continually amazed and how useless / dull the mainstream media. Jon Stewart is arguably the only one making politics *interesting*, which is rather pathentic. :-P It should be possible for a single person to create something compelling enough to attract listeners to a serious "point of view", perhaps like Nate Silvers did at FiveThirtyEight (though he did it with data, not analysis).
