Ernie: Well, Left-wing Christianity wasn't always a multi-culturalist phenomenon, so I guess it isn't structurally necessary for it to be multicultural in the future, but from the perspective of 2010 it is kind of difficult to imagine a time when the current status changes. When I read tea leaves I just don't see this happening any time soon, viz, in the next 20 years minimum. Is there something you see which leads you to suspect a turnaround ? If there are no Jews they will kill one another (as they already do, just more of it). A painfully accurate, if rather depressing, diagnosis. So what's the "Third Way" out? Is there some way (however drawn out and difficult) of forging a new identity for the Arab/Muslim world?
