It would seem that since the kernel of syllable is linux with a GNU
software stack., it would not be hard to get it working on syllable.
The main differences in syllable are in the Desktop and GUI portions,
which should not affect the filesystem.

 

Just a cursory look, but it seems like it should not take much to port
it over.
