Can someone give me a run down of the memory needs of running a cosd? I¹m trying to build a largeish test filesystem using virtual machines, and just starting the first cosd seems to take over a gig of memory. This makes it fairly hard to make a lot of VM¹s on a single box. Is there a way to reduce the memory footprint.
In my looking it seems I have over 38000 PG¹s allocated, does this seem like a reasonable number? Evan
