Congrats on getting Andrew's OK!
Looks like the debian packages weren't built from "v0.16" commit?
ceph-kclient-source doesn't quite look like v0.16 .... for example, the
vfs_fsync_range backport isn't there so it's not compiling against 2.6.31.
