noatime and nodiratime are already enabled

cat /etc/fstab

/dev/sdb       /srv/osd.0          xfs     noatime,nodiratime  0       0


(drive was formatted simply with mkfs.xfs /dev/sdb)

Is the osd data filesystem perhaps doing atime updates? noatime is your friend.
