I just came across this after upgrading to 16.2.6 from octopus on centos8-stream None of my OSDs would start after the host had been rebooted post upgrade
In systemctl log Error: container_linux.go:380: starting container process caused: process_linux.go:545: container init caused: rootfs_linux.go:76: mounting "/var/lib/ceph/d786756e-0b2e-11ec-ac53-f4ce46b6224c/selinux" to rootfs at "/sys/fs/selinux" caused: mkdir /var/lib/containers/storage/overlay/d208c960f34cd2493ec0e4ca947ae04acd2ab9ace6b5418f53daa12076e083d0/merged/sys/fs/selinux: operation not permitted: OCI permission denied This was caused by SELINUX being disabled, setting to permissive or enforced fixes the issue and allows the OSDs to start. I couldn't find any info about this online, so posting here in case anyone sees the same issue.
