It seems the situation is not that bad. The delete-bucket-lifecycle API is
ignored. But a careful user might verify the deletion with
get-bucket-lifecycle-configuration and notice that it's still present ;-).
As a workaround use "Status": "Disabled" in the lifecycle rules.
