Hello, As you may have noticed, the ceph mailing lists have struggled with reliable delivery of mail postings. Additionally, emails sent to the lists are rewritten to comply with DMARC authenticity checks. This means you will get duplicates frequently.
Unfortunately the Ceph project lacks modern expertise and time to make mailing lists work with the new rules pioneered by the email monopolists. We really could use some help from knowledgeable folks who would be willing to manage or advise on software (we are currently using GNU Mailman) and configurations that will work. Ideally, like LKML, the mailing list should be a dumb reflector as much as possible (no mail rewrites!). If you would be willing to contribute your time towards this, please get in touch with me privately off-list. Thanks, -- Patrick Donnelly, Ph.D. He / Him / His Red Hat Partner Engineer IBM, Inc.
