Hi,
although there is already a section in the upstream docs about mon
store recovery using OSDs [0], I decided to write a blog post [1] with
more details especially wrt cephadm managed clusters.
I tested the procedure multiple times on two different lab clusters
and it worked every time. Although I hope that nobody will have to use
it (I doubt it though), I do hope that this will help speed up recovery.
Maybe the upstream docs could be extended a bit as well.
Although I have tested it extensively I may have forgotten something
or made a mistake somewhere. I'd appreciate comments if you find
anything like that.
