My laptop (Linux Mint 14) mount ceph at boot (0.59) - no problem at all
I've tried with a server with Ubuntu 12.04 (ceph 0.56.4) - problem!
I've tried with 2 virtual machines with Ubuntu 12.04 (ceph 0.56.4) on my
laptop - problem!
The line in the fstab and the chmod setting on the keyring file are
exactly the same
I've tried to sobstitute the fqdn with ip... no luck
With a 'mount -a' once booted, cephfs mounts ok, so it look like tries
the mount when the net is down
Maybe something has changed or updated on ubuntu 12.04 init processes?

It looks like you are using a domain name instead of an IP address.
Try it with the IP address. Are the chmod settings correct on the
keyring? Once we resolve this, let me know how we can improve the docs

Hi all,
I have an entry in my fstab for Cephfs, but at boot time the fs
doesn't mount. Instead from the shell a "mount -a" works well
m1:6789,m2:6789,m3:6789:/ /mnt/ceph ceph
name=gw1,secretfile=/etc/ceph/keyring.gw1,noatime 0 2
I have tried to use monitors FQDN and the ip adresses
I have also added _netdev in the options
Still no luck
Ceph is 0.56.4 on Ubuntu 12.04
Any ideas?
Thanks
