Hi,

I had not been able to use ceph-deploy to prepare the OSDs. It seemed every
time I execute this particular command (assuming running the data and journal
on a same disk), I ended up with a message:

ceph-disk: Error: Command '['partprobe','/dev/cciss/c0d1']' returned non-zero
exit status 1

FYI, I had some old HP hardware which instead of the standard /dev/sda and so
on, the disks came out in the form of /dev/cciss/c0d0 etc.

I had monitored the /dev/disk/by-partuuid throughout the prepare process and
noticed that both the data and journal were created, but after some time the
journal partition went missing and the above error came out. Has anyone
encountered similar experience and work around for this issue. Thanks in
advance.

Regards,
Luke
