From your pastie details, it looks like you are using "auth supported = none".
That's pre 0.51, as noted in the documentation. Perhaps I should omit the old
usage or omit it entirely.
It should look like this:
auth cluster required = none
auth service required = none
auth client required = none
not
auth supported = none
