Thanks, Dan! Has anyone tried calamari on ubuntu trusty(14.04)?

I had similar issues, I tried many different ways to use vagrant but couldn’t build packages successfully. I’m not sure how reliable this is, but if you are looking to get Calamari packages quickly, you can skip the Vagrant install steps and just use the Makefile.

I used “make dpkg” to build the packages on Ubuntu 12.04 – although I had to install multiple dependencies before it worked. Let’s just say it wasn’t a fun process. Nevertheless I have Calamari up and running now.

Have the same issue, it will be really helpful if someone has any home-made procedure or some notes.

    Hey cephers,

Sorry to push this announcement so late on a Friday but...

    Calamari has arrived!

The source code bits have been flipped, the ticket tracker has been
moved, and we have even given you a little bit of background from both
a technical and vision point of view:

    Technical (ceph.com <http://ceph.com>):

    Vision (inktank.com <http://inktank.com>):

The ceph.com <http://ceph.com> link should give you everything you
    need to know about
what tech comprises Calamari, where the source lives, and where the
discussions will take place. If you have any questions feel free to
hit the new ceph-calamari list or stop by IRC and we'll get you
started. Hope you all enjoy the GUI!
