This is not my case: the journal is created automatically by ceph-deploy on the same disk, so that for each disk, /dev/sdX1 is the data partition and /dev/sdX2 is the journal partition. This is also what I want: I know there is a performance drop, but I expect it to be mitigated by the cache tier.
