Hello Cephers .

It looks like we have a problem to attach volume to an instance when
 using 'scsi' bus as value for the 'hw_disk_bus' property . (
actually to boot from new volume and image which have hw_disk_bus = scsi
property )

The error that we get on nova's logs are -->

2017-06-15 05:00:30.622 27668 ERROR oslo_messaging.rpc.dispatcher     if
ret == -1: raise libvirtError ('virDomainAttachDeviceFlags() failed',
dom=self)
2017-06-15 05:00:30.622 27668 ERROR oslo_messaging.rpc.dispatcher
libvirtError: internal error: unable to execute QEMU command 'device_add':
Duplicate ID 'scsi0-0-0-0' for device

>From what i've read it's a bug relates to libvirt , but couldn't find a
resolution ( we're running 'ocata' and 'kraken' )

using 'virtio' is working but can someone explain the implications of using
it  ?

Thanks
