All these methods that gradually increase the weight aren't really
necessary in newer releases of Ceph.
FWIW, we added a rack-full (9x60 = 540 OSDs) in one go to our production
cluster (then running Jewel) taking it from 2520 to 3060 OSDs and it
wasn't a big issue.
