so I took 3.10.40-5 through a bit more testing and it looks quite good. For
example, running netperf-wrapper's RRUL test agains t the router used to
produce plenty of the " ath: phy0: Failed to stop TX DMA, queues=0x00e!"
errors, but with 3.10.40-5 there is not a single of these errors in the logs,
neither for testing the 5GHz radio nor for the 2.4GHz radio. So either the
error message got silenced ;) or, preferably, the root cause was fixed.

I fear this might be the logging… at least for ph0 the MAC hangs used to
correlate with the TX errors in dmesg...
Neither radio got stuck (but I never could reproduce the locking reliably
anyway, so that does not mean much...)
