Hello Daud In as much as I half agree with King Gwaza that the issue should not be discussed in public rather at board level I think on the other hand the approach is fair because whatever decision is made will be from a spectrum of people's views and the teams will be able to own the final verdict in instances of forfeited games, than an imposed board verdict.
In my opinion I feel in the first instance teams should not forfeit games at all and once they do that heavy punishment need to be meted out on them otherwise it spoils the league and the excitement. From the time the fixture is out to the day games are played teams have ample time to notify the league organizers if they have any problems which would make them not able to fulfill their fixture. (ONLY VALID REASONS FOR THAT MATTER SHOULD BE ENTERTAINED) Basing on above arguments my opinion is "TEAMS SHOULD LOSE POINTS AS IS THE CASE NOW AND THEN THE NEXT GAME ON THEIR FIXTURE CALENDAR SHOULD START AT NEGATIVE 10 BASKET POINTS". The fee issue would be difficult because most teams would not own up or pay up the fines, and in that instance what next for the disciplinary action, do you stop them from playing further or what?
