Hope you are fine.
I would like to announce to you that the Chairmans Trophy playing
format will be changed on the following grounds:
1)a double elimination tournament for both A-League and B-League will
result in about 28 games to find the winner
2)A single elimination tournament would not be as fun and competitive
at this point in our league
3)Colleges have showed interest to join the tournament and this is
increasing the number of games in the tournament which presents us
with a big logistical and administrative challenge to have both
leagues playing in the same tournament at the same time
given the above scenarios, we will:
1)Make Chairman Trophy exclusive to A-League Teams
2)Introduce a similar tournament exclusively for the B-League teams
and college teams. This tournament will be played {starting} in the
early part November
This then mean that, Only A-League teams will be playing this weekend
in the tournament starting Friday but the final game will be played on
Oct 26th at Silver.
All B-League and College teams get ready for your very own tournament
with details to be announced very soon.
The following is how the CEZOBAL calendar looks like:
17 Oct (Trojans Vs Blazers Vs Mimbulu @ ABC gym from 5pm)
18-19 Oct Chairmans Tournament
25th Oct 3 on 3 Tournament..all day tournament at Silver
25th Oct NIGHT CEZOBAL Disco night at Chameleon bar
26th Oct Chairmans Trophy Final : Silver
1 November All Star games in BT
7-8 November B-League Tournament
November ** College League ***
Nov BASMAL National Championships- Date to be determined
