It was not an easy task becasue of the way our league is constructed. There is League A, League B and teams like Bunda and ABC who are equally good and can not be left out. Teams that have confirmed participation are: Mimbulu Bunda ABC Trojans Blazers 12 Disciples Kamuzu Institute Bayonets Sten, You suggestion and several others were discussed but we could not adopt them because of Bunda and ABC. These teams were not part of any league but we feel they should be given a chance to participate mu chikho chabwana ichi. To come up with the fixtures, Groups and seeding two issues were considered 1. League standig of the team (league yapitayi) 2. Strength of the team (for teams like Bunda, ABC and Institute who were not part of League A) We will have two groups (A and B) and the games will be played tomorow the 7th and 14th. The result will be 5teams that will be joined by 3 teams from the Junior or is it Secondary school league? These 8 teams will battle it out of the the 21st and 28th to get the three teams that will represent the central region during the national finals on the 4th of April. Apikene? This means that these people are the ones that are responsible for fixture and all the logistics. However, invitation is being sent to those that feel the calling of being part of this organising team.
