The Conficker Virus: Guys take note. Tomorrow, 1 April -also known as April Fools Day- is the day it is projected that one of the deadliest computer viruses to have surfaced will unleash its payload.
It is currently not known what exactly will happen but it is estimated that about 15 Million computers will be infected with a heavy payload. This particular virus is very nasty to the effect that Microsoft is offering $250,000.00 bounty to whoever will have information leading to the arrest of the creator of this virus. The virus spreads through flash disks, Ipods and other network shares and it is known to have used very complicated algorithms to hide itsself and mutate. One of my computers,whose date was 1 ahead just packed up. Checked the BIOS date and its on 1 April, the hard disk is gone it wont respond. Run a quick check, visit www.syamntec.com www.microsoft.com : if you cant open these websites, please patch your windows!!
