One thing which I presume we central guys are in total agreement is that leaving basmal to dictate how we proceed will not amount to anything. With due respect to the guys, theirs is one dead committee which also requires and complete overhaul. I don't think they are capable of conducting elections for anything at this point in time. If my memory saves me right, they are also supposed to have elections because their tenure in office has expires. Or not?? So, let's not worry too much about them. Let them worry about us after e implement a basket league that Malawi has never seen before. But before we can dream that far, let's have people that want to make a difference brought together and brainstorm the way forward. I'm sure right now they must be happy that Cezobal is dead and buried, otherwise they should have had a committee in place by now. When was it that they asked for the nominee's names???? January, you mean to tell me that up to now its difficult to simply set a date for elections??? There are a lot of issues still hanging in the air and it's sad to see that things are going on like this. Daud queried about how the Presidential money was used and he simply asked for a financial report to be circulated to everyone, but up to now nothing has been sent, even an acknowledgement that something will be done in the near future. Is it difficult to do a simple balance sheet??? Is Basmal being transparent?? I know these guys must be thinking this guy wants to put us in shit, but do you remember that this issue about money was brought up long before the finals were played, and now it's just being left there to dry out, which to me is not right, if you are going to be in that office you have to be accountable and make sure that people know exactly what's happening. I for one got involved with basketball for the love of it, I've never played it before but it makes me sad that people who have been involved with the game for a very long time are the ones who don't want the game to develop. Anyways was the previous committee wrong in trying to discipline Blazers?? Surely to pay a fine of MK15 000 in installments over a period of 5 months, was it harsh?? And for Basmal to come in and say that because that decision was done by an interim committee it was supposed to be overruled by them??? I've still got a lot of love for the game and I'll want to see Basketball become big and popular. I don't mind coming back into the committee and help out but Basmal should keep their hands off Cezobal as long as things are being done within the constitution of Basmal I don't see the reason why they should be getting themselves involved with what fines or suspensions are being given out by Cezobal. To finish off, it's also up to the teams within Cezobal to adhere to rules and regulations set by Cezobal, if teams will be thinking that they can be running to Basmal because one of their buddies is there and he can help overturn any decision to their favour, then things will never improve. It's up to us as Cezobal to know what we want and go for it. We had a good thing going on last year and we can still continue from were we left. Let's keep our affairs to ourselves and deal with our own issues internally, that way I'm sure there will be sanity. To show that we can be better organized lets come up with an under 16 league which we will be running concurrently with our CBAL "In your face" League, I'm sure all the teams in the A League given some time, can come up with their junior teams which in future can be used as a feeder team for the main teams.
