guys, i have a serious observation that i need to make regarding these games that are being played. while i understand that any team can beat any team, but the spirit and intention of soem of these players is just way out of line.
We are seeing alot of injuries, alot of kungu-like style of playing. i will mention 2 teams that are so far playing very bad and ugly basketball, Bayonets anad Mdzodzo. What makes worry is that instead of us pointing out what is wrong, we are cheering them and encouraging them to play rough and tip others. We saw Mtende getting hit in the face, we saw elbows swung, some of us get hit in the balls and tripped..and the rest we are laughing and cheering them on. I would like to ask th new commitee to seriously take a strong stand on this sort of basketball other wise, i dont see how you are going to sell the brand or even the game if people come to see hooligans knocking out others in the name of hustle! this must be corrected and teams must learn to play proper basketball, IF YOU are going to ref, be serious about it. Make the calls and take charge for the bloody game. i dont have kids,yet, and i dont want to risk that cause of a stupid basketball game...
