Mr. President I think you have answered in a very blunt and harsh manner than we had envisaged.
You should understand that I have written that it is due to unforeseen circumstances, and these things do happen in life. Apart from that we made an effort to announce our failure in time and went further to notify all involved. Actually we managed to find Mdzodzo who expressed interest to come in our place and pay us our refund which means they wont draw from CEZOBAL, and with Barlet when I talked to him last night he indicated even Kamuzu Barracks have expressed interest to take our place so how can you say we have deprived others, actually in this sense others have a chance to come in. I think it is only fair that we should try to give each other a listening ear in such circumstances and not be blunt as you have been. You can maybe agree with me that Alliance One is one of the teams that are always forthcoming and ready to assist in a positive way in so many areas and issues and we were even one of the first teams to pay up for this tournament showing our willingness, strong affiliation and support to the CEZOBAL league and when things like this happen do not hurry to vindicate as if we have done it deliberately. Of our entire team only four guys will be available and we will still send them down to witness the event but they cannot play because we are not enough to form a complete due to the circumstances that have befallen us. Kindly make arrangements to pay back our participation fee as soon as your committee decides on who to replace us with on the available two options of Mdzodzo and Kamuzu Barracks.
