CEZOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL: RESULT

Congratulations to Mimbulu for being crowned the 2009 CEZOBAL CHAMPIONS,
hard luck to Cougars but you sure proved that with a little more
experience you will be a force to recon with, don't give up keep on
working hard. Congratulations to both teams for putting up a brilliant
show both teams worked extremely hard, and made the game very exciting
for all the fans watching.
Now the whole focus is on the ABC Invitational starting from the 10th of
December 2009 and the crucial Malawi National Championship starting from
the 18th of December 2009. Teams going to represent CEZOBAL in the
Malawi National Championships are the CEZOBAL Champions Mimbulu, the
Championship Runners up Cougars and Blazers.
We as the CEZOBAL Executive Committee are going to do everything in our
capacity and will leave NO stone unturned to make sure that both
trophies remain in Lilongwe, especially the National Championship which
has eluded us for a very very long time.
The MALAWI ALL STARS TOURNAMENT will be held on the 16th of January 2010
and those who didn't get a chance to see the brand new CEZOBAL All Stars
Kit being unveiled at the CEZOBAL Gala Night, will get a chance to see
our All Stars team wearing it. The All Star call up will be done just
after the Malawi Nationals Championship, on Monday 21 December 2009.
