Dear All,

I would like to announce to the CEZOBAL family that Alliance One
Tobacco Company has donated four poles to CEZOBAL to be used for the
flood lights which we want to install at Silver Court. These were poles
collected yesterday by Peter 'Gunz' Gomani who provided us with
transportation, thank you very much. The poles have been left at my
house in Area 47 Sector four and we will soon start working on them,
they need some painting since they were a bit rusty and some work
(welding) needs to be done on them so that we can have the flood lights
hook up on them. Please lets all help in any way we can so that we have
the floodlights up and running by the time the second round games of
this very interesting CEZOBAL basketball season resumes on the 23rd of
July 2010. There is a lot of renovation work which the CEZOBAL Committee
wants to be carried out at Silver court to try and improve the standards
of the court apart from the installation of the floodlights. Please
those who feel they can be of help please feel free to contact any
member of the Committee to offer your services/ assistance, lets not all
sit and wait for the Committee to do everything. Together we can achieve
more......

OTHER CEZOBAL NEWS

* This year's season has been dubbed "Wafa Wafa" and it is surely
living up to its expectations, I and many more basketball fanatics can't
wait for the second round games to commerce, and it sure promises to be
more interesting than what we have witnessed so far. From grapevine, I
hear teams are already preparing for the second round and reinforcements
are already taking place, with players being linked to other teams.....
sha! "Wafa Wafa"

* The Salima games have proved to be a very good move and have
brought a different type of hype and excitement to the league as well as
the entertainment staved people of Salima. Keep in mind that the whole
CEZOBAL fraternity will be invading Salima in one weekend for the "Summa
Splash" tournament which will be held during the first weekend of
October, Salima should prepare for a rude awakening......

* Mimbulu have confirmed participation in this year's Zone 6 club
championship which is supposed to be held in Mozambique, they together
with the CEZOBAL Committee will embark on a fundraising drive to raise
funds for them to be able to go and take part in this tournament. This
will help expose the talent and recognition of our league to our
Regional brothers and sisters as well as the outside world. Please let's
all be involved and assist financially/ morally were ever we can.

* We have someone working on the website and we hoping that we
will soon have the cezobal website up and running pretty soon. We
desperately need someone to set up and work on a newsletter, any
volunteers please contact me, Kingsley or Herbert we will really
appreciate the assistance very much.

* Congratulations to Zofuna "Zoff" Chipungu and Memory Ngalande
on your engagement, you sure have made us the CEZOBAL family very proud,
we awaiting your big day and the CEZOBAL family will be there in a big
way..... May the Good Lord continue blessing you both

* The CEZOBAL Ladies League is around the corner, and we hope the
