Dear CEZOBAL FAMILY,
For the first time in Malawi we are going to be visited by an NBA Star
to conduct 3 clinics in the country and we have been privileged to host
TWO of the clinics in Lilongwe with the other clinic going to be hosted
by Mzuzu. The NBA Player who will be visiting Malawi is Anthony Rudolph
who has recently been traded to the New York Knicks from the Golden
State Warriors. He is 20 years old and is 6" 10 and has been compared to
the likes of Kevin Garnett, as one of the young players with a lot of
potential to be the next big thing in the NBA. He was at the same high
school which Kobe Bryant went to. Anthony Rudolph will be accompanied by
the Vice President of the NBA and a former WNBA player.

August 10 6:30pm Dinner with the corporate world and
press event (venue Crossroads Hotel)
BASMAL and a corporate world representative will speak about the
corporate environment in which Malawi basketball exists. Randolph will
speak about how the corporate world can benefit from the sport and vice
versa.
August 11 8:00am Travel to Mzuzu
2:00pm 90-minute Beginners Basketball clinic Katoto Secondary
School court (Participants: secondary school students and coaches)
August 12 8:00am Travel to Lilongwe via Lakeshore Road
August 13 (TBD) Leave Malawi for next destination

The clinics will be for Under 18s. All those who will be interested or
have their young Sisters and Brothers who will want to attend, please
send the names to Herber Chidaya or myself for registration. There
earlier you do this the better otherwise you will lose out since the
clinics will be limited to 50 participants per clinic. The rest of us
are encouraged to come and watch the clinics being conducted and get
autographs signed after the clinics if you want.
Please lets all come out in large numbers to support this historic visit
especially that the Vice President of the NBA will be here as well, we
sure are very privileged.
