Dear all, As the preparations have been going on most attention was placed on travel and logistics which I believe some light has been seen. As a concerned baller I also have noted one elemnt that has been overlooked. I have noted all games at the venues start on friday at 8am, why? Is friday a public holiday? The majority of the players we have playing in our teams are either working or scholars and by having games starting friday morning it means people arrive in bt on thursday. I have been playing in these championships for over 10 years and this has never happened! Unless there is MK3 million at stake, MAYBE people would consider skipping work for bball. Which boss would allow you a friday off to go and play bball? This tournament has not been publicized to the extent that the general public accepts its presence to warrant people to get a day off!! Secondly who will be watching at that time?? Good people we are already sacrificing a lot on our part just to have this tournament happen without expecting anything in return but fun playing the game we love, let's make a fixture that accomodates people and is realistic enough, think about our colleagues from mzuzu... Can't we do something about this? Please advise.
