King, Are aspirants only requires to emil to ben mlasa only? if so, how will the electrorate know who is vying for which position? should it not be addressed to everyone on the CEZOBAL mail list, atleast we need to know who is standing for which position since we are the voters. Lest we be suprised on the polling day to see strangers on the ballot paper.
To the rest: I think it is very important that we take this issue of the forthcoming election seriously because of a number of things: 1. the terms are going to change to 4 years..we dont have to get stuck with a "dormant" or "non-responsive" executive that will not take the game to he next level. All the foundations have been raid and we need people who can take th game to the next level, 4 years is no joke, its a long time. 2. the state of the game is in shaky states. i dont think we have reached where we should have reached at all levels,from zonal to national due to a number of reasons. Its time we really look at people who are going to actively advocate for the progress of the game. Its good to see new and young teams coming up in CEZOBAL, thats encouraging but all that can be killed right now if: -we get an executive that will not have initiative -we dont have games played regularly -we dont have enough facilities for the game -we dont have a strong national system in place to facilitate for national activities and tournaments a team like central knights is one for the future BUT they can easily get off track wihtout a strong support system which has to start from team management to zonal management to national management. The question is: how high are we going to go in the next 4 years? i will be 37 years old, hopefully spending more time NOT playing the game..zilindiinu achichepelenu, ife kwathu tinachita zosewelazi!
