First, I think this message belongs on one of the CF Technical lists. I
don't think CF Community is a tech list.
But here goes...
If you are using SQL :
Make a field in the DB called whatever you like. I use TimeStamp. Give
this field a default value of GetDate().
This will automatically enter the date and time that each row was added to
the db. You never have to worry about this in your insert statements.
With Access :
Do the same. I think that Access uses Now() rather than GetDate().
