We used Informix until we switched to Oracle here at Ohio University. We
had no issues as far as CF and Informix together. CF was on an NT4.0 box
and Informix was running on a DEC Alpha Unix box. We used the Intersolv
ODBC drivers and everything worked fine. We switched for non-CF/Informix
reasons.

Of all the databases I've seen discussed on this and the cf-talk forum,
I don't really recall much discussion about using Informix as the
back-end database for a Cold Fusion application. We are a 99.9%
Informix shop and may be looking at building an application using Cold
Fusion, but need it to use Informix as the back-end database. Any
thoughts about using Informix? Pros? Cons? Anything else?
